While the cheap washing machines has the drain pump to remove the excess water used in the washing cycle, it is the spinning that gets rid of the moisture from the clothing. If the maximum speed of the washer is not attained, the moisture within the clothing will not disappear and will remain inside the washer tub. More often than not, this predicament is suffered by people who allow their wet clothes to linger inside the washing machine long after the cycle has been completed. This simple act definitely leads to stinky odor and mildew. With the different styles and designs of washers today, it is often difficult to pinpoint which among the parts of the machine is exactly causing the stink.
