Gretsch 6199: High Quality Guitar

The tones produced byt eh Gretsch guitar is wonderful and this had temped many to buy a Gretsch for themselves. The Gretsch 6199 is actually a modern version of the Jupiter thunderbird which was designed in the year 1959 by Bo Diddley. The older version of the guitar was redesigned with few improvements which includes heavily chambered mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, ultra-thin laminate maple top, TV Jones Power’Tron (neck) and Power’Tron “Plus” (bridge) pickups, pinned Adjusto-matic™ bridge, and Schaller straplocks.

The 2 TV power in the Gretsch guitar generates awesome tone and this guitar also bears a pinnes adjustable bridge and proper Schaller straplocks. The controls are easy to use, cleaner styles and mixing the pickup volumes creates softer voices. One will be tempted to rewire with just two controls for a standard volume and tone setup. This instrument is not a cheap however it also does not give off the features that is expected out of it. This instrument is a great value for money.
