I Learned About Life and Death While Shopping For Caskets in Texas

I work at a retirement center, and being that close to people in the final years of their lives has taught me so much about life. I remember helping one client shop for caskets in Texas, and how funny she was! She kept saying things like “Oh, that one is so pretty!” And as we continued shopping, I realized that she wasn’t scared. When I mentioned it to her, she said “Of course not! I am excited to see what’s on the the other side”. Thanks to her, and to the other wonderful clients I have had the privilege of working with, I realize that life is a gift, and death is just another adventure.
