Are Phone Cards a Viable Alternative for Long Distance?
My family is spread out all over the country, but we really don’t talk to each other that much. Just recently two of my sisters have become quite ill, and all of us have been talking to each other a lot more trying to resolve some family issues. My phone bill has been really high, and I need to figure out a way to reduce the expense. It looks like using a phone card might actually be cheaper than what the phone company is charging me. I might be able to change carriers, but that is a lot of trouble for a temporary problem. Has anyone else had this type of problem come up? Are phone cards a good alternative?
