How to Help Children With Bipolar Disorder
Martha has a ten year old son. Martha is besides herself because she does not know what to do with him. She was reading on the Internet about bipolar disorder in children and felt that her son had this disorder. She was encouraged about what she read and decided that she needed to set up an appointment to have him tested. She talked with the psychiatrist after he visited with her son. He told Martha that it was a good thing that she recognized the disorder and by bringing him in early there would be a lot of help for him.
