Child Support – Can it be Revised?
One of the most frustrating things for both parties of a divorce situation is that of child support. The parent paying it always thinks they’re paying too much and/or that the other parent is using it for things other than the child(ren). The one receiving it never thinks it’s enough, and often has a hard time collecting it in a timely fashion. Both are probably legitimate gripes. But what I recently found out, might be of help to some of you out there. Due to our currently difficult economic status right now, a lot of folks are really hurting. It is actually possible to have the terms of your child support agreement changed by just filling out a form and taking it to the court, explaining (with all the backup documentation, of course) what your financial situation is, and why you need an adjustment. It may be worth looking into!
