Personal Life On Resume

There is a raging debate about whether or not to include your personal life on your resume. On one side of things, some employers want to see that you’re well-rounded individual, and that you’re capable of doing things other than simpler working. On the other side of things, the current generation of workers is gaining a reputation for being difficult and trying to make jobs conform to their whims. Too much personal information may tell a prospective employer that your job responsibilities are a much lower priority than your personal life.

When in doubt leave it out. There may be some situations where your personal life may be beneficial, but if you don’t know for sure you’re probably better off leaving it off your resume. If the interviewer ask you personal questions you are free to answer by keeping it off your resume make sure it isn’t in their face if it would damage your chances of getting the job.
