Snowboarding is not Just for the Kids
I have always had a sense of fun and adventure, but stopped doing a lot of things when I had children. I felt I had to set an example by being serious and responsible. Last year that changed when the family moved to a snowy climate. My kids were excited when they found that everyone snowboards, sleds, ice skates, and skis. I bought them their burton bindings and snowboards, then watched them practice. It looked like such fun I had to try. We were all amazed when I turned out to be good at it! Now I am not sure sure who gets more excited at the first snowfall, me or the kids.
