Technology Evolution: Mobile Voip Phone Service
For the most part, I consider myself to be fairly technically savvy. I pay attention to the most recent developments in portable music players, computers, and even mobile phones — which in and of themselves are practically computers. There is one technology, however, that I must claim ignorance about the first time I saw it in action. The technology is mobile voip phone service. Here I was watching a friend speak into his computer via a remote headset and dial up a long distance phone call. It was both illuminating and cool at the same time. I have to have it!
